YES WE WILL WIN

Well my story WE WILL WIN continues.ARPITA has been shown in Pgimer Chandigarh. We have a good news that the girl can be cured by a major operation .Specialist doctors in Chandigarh have said that she has got multiple cysts in her one kidney. This is genetic disease by nature. Due to this her kidney has swollen and has also lead to swelling of her lower abdomen. Doctors have prescribed immediate operation in which liquid from her swollen kidney will be taken out, so that both of her kidneys can be saved .If this method fails ,then the infected kidney will be removed. As humans can survive on one kidney also,so she will be living a normal life in both the cases. But precautions required will be more in the second case . Since we are busy in college till Dec 4 due to exams ,so operation will be done after that only.
That was all what doctor has to do. Next task for us is collection of money. Nearly 25 to 30 thousand are required for operation only. After treatment we'll also require around 10 to 15 thousand rupees for her medicines etc. Along with this we have to live in Chandigarh for 8-10 days during operation.I remind u, parents are so poor that even when we had decided dates for check up in Chandigarh, they were still reluctant to go and started giving false reasons, thinking they may have to spend some money.U can imagine what will be the condition of parents ,when they are ready to leave their daughter going in slow death instead of going for check up .So we persuaded them and told that, we will arrange everything.
We have decided to collect money from students and teachers from our nit only. We hope money collected from them will be sufficient to solve the problem. We are very proud that when no one is ready to help others ,we have friends who always supported & kept faith in us in fulfilling any work related to literacy mission.
We all are working hard and hope with further updates i will be telling better news. Please help for this noble cause in any way u can. At present I specially commend our literacy members Neha and Ramya who had gone to Chandigarh with the parents of ARPITA during holidays when we all were enjoying Diwali with our parents .So keep supporting us and of course WE WILL WIN....

if any one has not read my WE WILL WIN, he can read one story below in this blog only

WE WILL WIN

Well I wish to start my blog with the story of three year old child ARPITA who has acute cyst problem in her kidney. Final treatment for this will be removal of her infected kidney. She belongs to a laborer family. Parents don't have any money for her treatment. Here in NIT hamirpur we run a small literacy mission which is using its resources mainly money collected from students for her initial treatment .Intial tests have been done and she will be taken to pgimer Chandigarh for further tests. This story has just begin. I' ll be updating this as the thing progresses .Hope I can tell u bright ending.
Most painful part of this story is that wherever we go for help ,people say that she can't be cured as it will require a large amount of money and care. But is it right on the basis of humanity? That a small child who just play, sing, salute and even say hello to u like other children should be allowed to die quietly and painfully because parents can’t afford treatment. Well I don't know the answer because people say u should be rational in your approach. I don’t think anything is more important than a person's life and rationality lies far behind all this... We will fight and we will win......
